Program Description: The applied physics option is a continuation of the existing physics of radiations bachelor degree. The choice of the Applied Physics option is characterized by a good balance between the foundations of physics, its applications and engineering sciences in different cutting-edge fields where physics and technology are associated, such as the study and characterization materials used for energy, the study and modeling of problems linked to radiation as well as renewable energies.
The main objective is to provide broad multidisciplinary training, both scientific (matter and radiation interaction, atomic physics and plasmas, new energies) and technological in cutting-edge fields such as optoelectronic materials and characterization techniques, methods data analysis and modeling.
The Master’s degree in Applied Physics leads in particular to research careers and allows opening opportunities in cutting-edge or emerging fields. This orientation has support from the surrounding companies.
