Program Description: They are presented in two almost complementary points:
a- General skills: the candidate for such training is capable of:
– To analyze all animal production conditions in its action zone in their specificities and interactions.
– To identify problems relating to the primary conditions of animal production.
– To propose areas for improvement in the short and longer term, to design and implement specific projects on these primary conditions.
– Coordinate, monitor and evaluate the development operations defined with the relevant managers.
b- Special skills: the candidate is a specialist:
– Relations between soil and plant climate, that is, the environment and the plant;
– Production systems;
– Agricultural dynamics.
He also masters
– The production principles relating to the plant sectors (dates) and local products.
He has a good knowledge.
– In the administrative and socio-economic field of the agricultural environment in general.
It dominates the organizational problems of each sector and sub-sector of production and marketing of the different Oasian productions.
He is able – to propose subjects for experimentation, discuss them with those responsible for research, participate in the definition of protocols and the follow-up of work;
– To self-train and self-specialize throughout his professional activity and to have training schemes at all levels.
It has – an intellectual opening on the possibilities of using new forms of energy in the oasian environment and new techniques related to the production process and its management.
